Cook-Program Tips function like mini-recipes, giving you the key information you need to use June’s Cook-Programs right on the oven’s touch screen. The Tips screen displays after you select a Cook-Program before the Start Cooking screen. Tips will also display in the Program section of the June app.
Tips will vary in length depending on the program but will always indicate what shelf position to use and which accessories are required. They can also feature preparation guidelines for cutting vegetables or how long to rest proteins after cooking. Following the guidance of a Cook-Program’s Tips helps ensure consistent results every time.
Tips can be hidden on a program-by-program basis. Once you reach the Start Cooking screen, select [Options] > [Tips] and select [Off]. The next time you start that Cook-Program, the tips screen will be skipped. A new [Tips] button will appear below [Options] to access Tips for that program in the future.
Frequently asked questions
Why do the tips not tell me how much oil or seasoning to use?
Cook-Programs exist to give you freedom in the kitchen. They strip out all the extra stuff and give you the most important points needed for success. Season however you like and get creative using whatever spice blends and cooking oils you have in your pantry. If you need a starting point, 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil, along with ½ - 1 teaspoon of salt and ⅛ - ¼ of black pepper should get you great results with most of our Cook-Programs.
