The Roasting Rack is recommended when cooking meats and poultry for improved heat circulation and even cooking. It also enables different types of food to cook at the same time, like root vegetables underneath a whole chicken. You can find Cook-Programs that use the rack by searching “rack” in the Programs section of the June app. There are many recipes that use the Roasting Rack in the Cookbook section of the app for more inspiration.
When you’re not cooking with Roasting Rack, it also functions as a cooling rack. Set long pans perpendicular to the rack for the best fit.
