Here at June, we strongly recommend regularly cleaning your June Oven to ensure it is cooking at its best! Wiping down the inside of your oven after every cook cycle with a non-abrasive sponge or a soft cloth can help prevent grease build-up. Make sure you do not touch the heating elements.

For a more thorough cleaning of your June Oven, we recommend these three methods:

  1. Quick Clean with Easy-Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner: 40 minutes
  2. Regular Clean with Easy-Off Fume Free Oven Cleaner: 2.5 hours
  3. Deep Clean with Easy-Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner: 8+ hours

As a reminder, always follow the safety instructions on the cleaning product. We recommend you wear rubber gloves during cleaning.

Quick Cleaning instructions with Easy-Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner

Total time: 40 minutes

Cleaning Supplies needed:

  • Easy-Off Heavy Duty Oven Cleaner
  • Piece of masking tape
  • Water spray bottle
  • Paper towels
  • Gloves

Instructions:

  1. Remove the Wire Shelf and Crumb Tray. Cover the thermometer jack with a small piece of masking tape.
  2. Preheat the oven to 200°F. Cancel the preheat once the oven has reached this temperature and before applying the Easy-Off.
  3. Swipe to the third screen on your oven and tap on the Cleaning icon. The light in your oven will now remain on as you clean and any remote cooking will be prevented.
  4. Avoid spraying the Easy-Off directly onto the heating elements.
  5. Hold the can of Easy-Off upright and apply a good coating on the side and back walls and door of the oven.
  6. Close the oven door and allow the cleaning solution to sit for ten minutes.
  7. Spray the Wire Shelf and Crumb Tray with Easy-Off and place them in the sink to soak.
  8. After ten minutes, wipe down your oven. Using a paper towel, wipe the Easy-Off and any grease or food debris from the sides and back wall and door of your oven. Do not wipe the heating elements. There is a repair charge for accidental damage to heating elements.
  9. Look inside the oven and wipe the camera with a damp paper towel. If there is grease build-up on the glass, you can use a paper towel with warm water and soap. Avoid touching the heating elements near the camera.
  10. To remove all remaining residue from the Easy-Off, fill a spray bottle with water and spray water liberally onto the oven walls, door and the edges of the heating elements where they meet the oven walls. Wipe down the walls and door of the oven. Do not wipe the heating elements.
  11. Close the oven door and tap on the screen. From the Cleaning icon, select Oven Interior and then Blow Dry. This will turn the fans of your oven on in order to evaporate any excess water.
  12. Using a paper towel, wipe the Easy-Off and any grease or food debris from the Wire Shelf and Crumb Tray before replacing in your June Oven.
  13. Remove masking tape from the thermometer jack.
  14. Enjoy cooking in your clean June Oven!
