How secure is June Oven?

June takes privacy very seriously. All communication between the June Oven, smartphone app, and web services are protected by industry-standard AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) encryption. Remote control and remote viewing are granted to smartphones on a device-by-device basis, through physical access to the oven.

Do I need WiFi to use the oven?

June requires an active WiFi connection the first time the oven is turned on for setup to perform a required software update. After this software update is complete and the oven has restarted, it can be used without an active WiFi connection, though certain features will not work without an active internet connection.

Can I use Bluetooth to connect to my oven?

No.

Do I need a mobile device to use the June Oven?

June doesn't require a mobile device to use the 12 Cook Modes, 200+ Cook-Programs or Food ID. Several of June’s features require the June app (such as Guided Recipes, Live Video and Push Notifications).

Can I connect my oven to more than one device?

Yes. June can pair with multiple iOS and Android devices. It can also connect to Amazon’s Alexa for voice control.

Can I connect my device to multiple ovens?

No.

How does my oven get software updates?

During the setup process, you’ll connect your June Oven to WiFi to download the first software update. After that, June will automatically download and install new updates in the background.
