All of June’s technology makes it just as much a computer as it is an oven and may sometimes experience software crashes. Unexpected restarts happen when June experiences a software crash and needs to reboot itself.
If your oven unexpectedly restarted during a cook session, you will need to manually restart the cook session. You can use Cook History to see how long your food had been cooking and adjust your cooking time accordingly. Use Live View to monitor your food during this new session to prevent overcooking.
If you’re using a Cook-Program or Guided Recipe that uses the temperature probe to determine doneness, June will automatically adjust these programs to pick up where it left off based on the food’s internal temperature.
Unexpected restarts are rare. If your oven starts experiencing frequent unexpected restarts, contact our Support Team.
